Spice Club

The name Spice Club may suggest hot and sweaty but that is not entirely the case here, primarily because there are two seating areas. The main area gives the energetic party animal the opportunity to get to the centre of the club where lies, the majority of the crowd. This gives you front row seats to the large stage, that is home to the regular live bands and daily coyote girls.

The club DJ booth is in the centre of the room. The play list is predominantly the latest club mixes and hip hop tunes and party normally goes on until dawn The other area is for the more relaxed clubber where there is an array of soft stools and chairs so that you can sit comfortably, hold a conversation and have a hassle freedrink. However be warned that towards the end some nights the club can get a little rowdy. Needless to say this is because of excessive alcohol consumption by a few of the late night drinkers who occasionally uses those comfortable seats and transforms them into their own personal dancing pedestals: when that happens, either you'll have to join in, or your hassle-free drink may end as part of the decor!

The Rock Pub

A classic rock bar which has survived the years despite unspectacular attendances and often unspectacular local rock bands. But that's part of its charm and there are a few musicians who pass through who can still strut their stuff! One of the only venues in Bangkok where rock still rules, overall quality has been improved. The bands at the weekend tend to be better though, and the city's rockers still convene here as they have been doing the last 16 years. If hard rock is your thing, look no further.
