Spice Club

The name Spice Club may suggest hot and sweaty but that is not entirely the case here, primarily because there are two seating areas. The main area gives the energetic party animal the opportunity to get to the centre of the club where lies, the majority of the crowd. This gives you front row seats to the large stage, that is home to the regular live bands and daily coyote girls.

The club DJ booth is in the centre of the room. The play list is predominantly the latest club mixes and hip hop tunes and party normally goes on until dawn The other area is for the more relaxed clubber where there is an array of soft stools and chairs so that you can sit comfortably, hold a conversation and have a hassle freedrink. However be warned that towards the end some nights the club can get a little rowdy. Needless to say this is because of excessive alcohol consumption by a few of the late night drinkers who occasionally uses those comfortable seats and transforms them into their own personal dancing pedestals: when that happens, either you'll have to join in, or your hassle-free drink may end as part of the decor!

Route 66 Club in RCA

The biggest club on the RCA strip, if entering from Rama 9 it is truly impossible to miss. This is by far the most popular club, taking up four sections of the street, and normally packed with a Thai university scene.

A fun night, but better to go in a group as if you go it alone it seems a little clicky..

Packed is the right word to describe it.

First thing, make sure you are wearing shoes. They are really strict about that. you really don't want to be in there without shoes with all the people likely to step on you.

The club is packed with young college crowd. More girls then guys obviously. The place is huge and yet it is always packed. They try to server you as best as they can but you might be waiting for service sometimes. Going to the bar yourself is a great idea. Just walk and when you get stuck just dance with the girls next to you. (Disclaimer: worked for me might not work for you. :-))

Music is predominantly Hip-Hop. Mostly English songs. they play Thai songs every now and then but that doesn't affect your mood.

Slim Club in RCA

Slim is one of the first clubs on the right hand side of RCA if coming from Rama 9. If coming from Petchaburi - take a left on RCA and look for Slim on the left towards the end of RCA. Or take the MRT to Petchaburi station and taxi.

Slim Club opens at 7pm, closes at 2am, Slim keeps the entertainment alive with live music, food and drinks. A great stop while drinking your way down RCA.

Zeta Club in RCA

Located on the right side of the RCA strip, a little farther down but well before the cutoff to Phetchaburi intersection.

Getting There: Take a taxi to RCA and look for Zeta Club on the right hand side if coming from Rama 9. It is farther down RCA but prior to the cutoff for Phetchaburi road. If coming from Phetchaburi turn left on RCA and look for Zeta Club on the left soon after the intersection. Or take the MRT to Phetchaburi station and taxi.

Jungle Dance Club

Your usual Thai style club with good DJ mixes, cheap drinks, and the occasional coyote and bikini shows on stage. Caters to a Thai group, with most nights playing Thai music. Its loud, its crowded, but its a fun night out.

Had a blast!! Not to expensive and there are a lot of little hole in the wall places around this area.. Great for exploration, not a lot of foreigners in this area..

Bed Supper Club

The hottest new spot in the Oriental City of Sin, Bed is an extraordinary space-age designer lounge in fashionable Sukhumvit. You enter a large, all-white oval pod interior with a bar at the back, divan-beds suspended from the walls and low-slung chairs on the floors - all lit up in a permanent glow of soft blue neon. The effect is to transport you back to the Jetson's via the 21st Century, silent films and videos projected on the walls adding to the retro-futuristic feel. Food is mostly a fusion of western and Oriental dishes, although tasty northern Thai fare seemed to dominate. Predictably it all comes at a price, but since ultra sexy staff dressed like spaceship travellers will happily bring food and cocktails to you as you recline like galactic emperors on the divan fittings, we reckon you'll manage.

The Bed - Bkk

The Bed located on Sukhumvit 11 this is a very fashionable place to go for dinner, and or drinks. This is regarded as one of the hottest clubs in Bangkok and is worth going to if only to take pictures of the space ship like building in which it is housed. The club is split into two sections, one aimed more at drinking and dancing and the other are for dining and chilling out with friends. As the name suggests the whole concept the club is based on is a bed, they actually have waitresses in rather skimpy but elegant nightwear, and there are actual beds for customers to relax and enjoy. A very unusual but highly enjoyable club, definitely worth a visit.
